The letter to mentors

Dear Potential SheSkillz Global Mentor,

We are happy to share some details on what SheSkillz Global is all about and how you could contribute as an experienced-executive and/or entrepreneur to the global advancement of female talent. All women and men who, with this invitation, are invited to apply to be SheSkillz Global mentors, are experienced leaders whom we are proud to count on.


Diversity and Equality are on the agenda of a growing number of companies, organisations, and governments worldwide. Besides the imperatives of equality and equity, they have realised that they can no longer afford to forgo the huge untapped talent pool of professional women.

Nevertheless, although talent is globally in short supply, women are still underrepresented on non-executive boards, in executive positions both in companies and in the not-for-profit sector, as well as in areas such as sports management or cultural institutions.

Despite women being better educated than ever before, they still encounter an uneven playing field in most countries and industries. Women clearly do not get the same dividends for education as men do. And at the same time, we often hear: “We cannot find the women that are qualified and/or willing to take the job”.

On the sheskillzglobal.com, professional women from all over the world are connecting and engaging with a supportive community to give their professional development a whole new perspective.


SheSkillz Global offer a mentoring network where experienced professionals actively support the career of their female mentees, allowing them to move ahead in their careers. Other initiatives are under development and will be made public step by step.


For female talent with ambitions, developing their full potential can be challenging. They often lack a satisfying professional network and role models to look up to and talk with.

Luckily, an increasing number of experienced professionals are eager to help them succeed.

With our mentoring network, SheSkillz Global aim to offer female talents a safe and inspiring place to reflect on the sometimes difficult moments in their professional journeys, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps.

We aim to build a global community where professionals from different countries and cultures will meet as mentors and mentees, matched based on aspirations and experience.


In the summer of 2022, we opened our mentor program for women from all professions. Now we have mentors (all genders) and mentees (women) from all over the globe (> 40 nationalities) and from different professions.  Through our mentor program, we help highlight what works best for mentees and mentors in our unique set-up. We, of course, hope to retain our mentors in our mentor network, and so far that has not been a problem.  The mentors tell us they learn as much as the mentee and enjoy participating.

Mentors will come from different professions and countries but with a common trait: A great professional experience in their field of expertise combined with a readiness to invest a few hours per year to be part of a global community aiming to build a world where talent has no gender.

Specific mentor program: The first group of mentors and mentees was in cooperation with the International Biathlon Union (IBU) (from January 2022), this was a success. In the spring of 2023, a new group of mentees from the Biathlon Family were invited to join, we have since then also setup tailor-made mentoring program for other companies/organisations. This type of program that include some more elements than the open program can also be offered to others.  For more information, feel free to contact us.
